NEW COMMIT: <\/strong>Olympic Trials qualifier Maximilian “Max” zum Tobel<\/strong> of Boca Raton, Florida, has verbally committed to NC State as a member of the Wolfpack’s Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Collin McKenzie<\/strong><\/a>, Quinitn McCarty<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Drew Salls<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Stephen Conrad<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0JT Ewing<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Kyle Ponsler<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Michael Cotter<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Lance Norris<\/strong><\/a>, and\u00a0Ryan Weaver<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in Raleigh in the fall of 2022.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

A talented sprinter and breaststroker, zum Tobel does his club swimming with Saint Andrew\u2019s Aquatics and most recently placed sixth in the 100m free at Florida Gold Coast Seniors after racing the 50m free at Wave I of the U.S. Olympic Trials. He also finaled in three events at the NCSA Championships and earned bronze in the 50 free at the 18&U Spring Cup in Orlando.<\/p>\n
