Coming off a seven-medal haul at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, McKeon will provide the Roar with numerous lineup options when the squad faces the Cali Condors, Aqua Centurions and Tokyo Frog Kings in Naples.<\/p>\n<p>McKeon made history at the Tokyo Games, where she became the first female swimmer to win seven medals in a single Olympiad. She finished the Olympics with four gold medals and three bronze medals, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/olympics-hail-the-new-queen-australias-emma-mckeon-wins-100m-freestyle-gold-cate-campbell-a-proud-bronzed-aussie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">individual titles in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle<\/a>. She was also a member of Australia\u2019s world-record 400 freestyle relay and handled the butterfly leg on Australia\u2019s victorious 400 medley relay.<\/p>\n<p>The addition of McKeon to the lineup should supply a major boost for the Roar, as McKeon is an option in the 50 free, 100 free and 200 free, along with the butterfly events. More, her presence will have an impact on the franchise\u2019s relays. Depending on the outcome of the medley relays, McKeon could also factor into the meet-ending Skins competition, where significant points are available.<\/p>\n<p>McKeon returned to Australia following the Olympic Games and followed quarantine procedures before getting the chance to return to a sense of normal life. She missed the Roar\u2019s first match, but arrived in Naples, the site of the ISL regular season, in time to prepare for Match No.
