NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Junior National qualifier\u00a0Olena Sadovska\u00a0<\/strong>of Broadview Heights, Ohio, has opted to remain in-state for her college career after pledging her verbal commitment to the Buckeyes.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Claire Pophal<\/strong><\/a>, Lucy Malys<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Sydney Davids<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Jessica Eden<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Sanna Peterson<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>in Columbus at the start of the 2022-23 season.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

A talented breaststroker, Sadovska does her club swimming with Cleveland Swim Institute and most recently placed 22nd in the 100m breast and 28th in the 200m breast at the Speedo Summer Championships – East after taking sixth in the 50m breast at Geneva Sectionals. She earned gold in the 100 breast and silver in the 200 breast at Lake Erie Seniors in March before going on to notch four lifetime bests at Elkhart Sectionals.<\/p>\n
