The governing body for the sport in the United States recognized that 32 individual records were set, along with 31 relay standards. The swimmers responsible for the record-breaking efforts spanned 29 clubs.<\/p>\n<p>Tokyo Olympians <strong>Torri Huske<\/strong> and <strong>Claire Curzan<\/strong> led the way with five individual records each. Huske broke the 17-18 100-meter butterfly record in long-course meters on three occasions, with her best time the 55.66 she posted at the United States Olympic Trials. That performance was also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/u-s-olympic-trials-teen-stars-torri-huske-and-claire-curzan-snare-tokyo-bids-in-100-butterfly-american-record-for-huske\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">established an American record<\/a>. Huske also set NAG marks in the 17-18 age group in the 50 freestyle (LCM) and 100 butterfly (SCY).<\/p>\n<p>As for Curzan, she twice set the 15-16 classification record in the 100 butterfly (LCM), with a best time of 56.20, and added short-course records in the 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. Meanwhile, Olympic teammate <strong>Lydia Jacoby<\/strong> set three records in the 17-18 100 breaststroke (LCM), highlighted by the 1:04.95 outing that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/olympics-lydia-jacoby-pulls-stunner-to-win-100-breast-lilly-king-third\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">landed Jacoby gold at the Olympic Games<\/a> in Tokyo.<\/p>\n<p>On the boys\u2019 side, <strong>Thomas Heilman<\/strong> led the way with three NAG standards in the 13-14 category. Heilman established long-course marks in the 100 freestyle (51.20) and 100 butterfly (54.45) and a short-course record in the 200 freestyle (1:36.25).<\/p>\n<p><a
