NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Futures qualifier\u00a0Summer Raymer\u00a0<\/strong>of Monroeville, Pa. has announced her decision to continue her academic and swimming career at Youngstown State University beginning in the fall of 2022.<\/p>\n

She will join Abby Perry<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>of Cranberry Township, Pa. as a member of the Penguins’ Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my academic and athletic career at Youngstown State University. I am so thankful for the support from my family, friends, and coaches who have helped me get to where I am today. I cannot wait for the future with my ‘Guins!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A distance freestyler, Raymer does her club swimming with Racer X Aquatics and placed fourth in the 200m free at the Allegheny Mountain LC Junior Olympics last month before going on to earn two best times at the ISCA Summer Senior Blast. In March, she finished 12th in the 1000 free and 16th in the 500 free at the Senior Keystone Classic.<\/p>\n
