I\u2019d especially like to thank my wife, family, and friends who have been amazing in this process. I am excited to work with a talented and dedicated staff, to continue the traditions of the program, and to help our swimmers and divers become the best versions of themselves through our mission and their participation on the team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Albert replaces <strong>Tim Beerman,<\/strong> who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/tim-beerman-steps-down-as-coach-of-high-school-powerhouse-st-xavier\/\">resigned from the role in April<\/a> after six seasons at the helm. Albert swam for legendary coach <strong>Jim Brower.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After graduating in 2008, Albert returned as an assistant coach for the AquaBombers since 2009. He\u2019s worked with St. Xavier\u2019s swim team, water polo team and triathlon club. He started working with the Cincinnati Marlins in 2016 in a variety of roles.<\/p>\n<p>Albert, who received bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees at Xavier University, had worked as the assistant director of admissions and enrollment and the dean of student leadership at McNicholas High School. He will assume a job in the St. Xavier admissions office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to have an alumnus of St. Xavier High School and our swimming and diving program take over our storied program,\u201d St. Xavier athletic director <strong>Brian Reinhart<\/strong> said. \u201cCoach Albert has extensive experience as an assistant coach at St. X as well as with various clubs in the area that will be an asset to continuing the tradition of the Long Blue Lane.
