NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Stanford University has received their third verbal commitment for the fall of 2022 from Olympic Trials qualifier Henry Morrissey\u00a0<\/strong>of Philadelphia, Pa.<\/p>\n

He will join Josh Zuchowski<\/strong><\/a> and Liam Custer<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>on The Farm next fall, giving the Cardinal some of the biggest recruits in the Class of 2026 thus far.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

A talented freestyler, Morrissey trains year-round with Germantown Academy Aquatics and most recently earned five best times at the JW Summer Solstice in June. In 2019, he finished fifth in the 1500m free at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Greensboro.<\/p>\n

A rising senior at Germantown Academy, Morrissey won the 500 free and raced to seventh in the 200 free at the Eastern Interscholastic League Championships as a junior.<\/p>\n
