How to Watch the Tokyo Olympics Live in the USA<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over the course of the swimming competition at the Tokyo Olympics, which runs from July 24 through August 1, races will be shown on the networks of NBC. The swimming finals were moved to the morning for Toyko (10:30 a.m. local time) in order to accomodate the NBC primetime broadcast, and finals will be featured beginning at 9:30 p.m. ET every evening in the U.S. (the date will be one day earlier than in Japan).\u00a0Dan Hicks<\/strong>,\u00a0Rowdy Gaines<\/strong> and\u00a0Michele Tafoya<\/strong> will be the primary announcing crew for NBC, with\u00a0Michael Phelps<\/strong> and\u00a0Elizabeth Beisel<\/strong> also contributing analysis for select races.<\/p>\n

Coverage of preliminary heats will be shown live daily on the USA Network beginning at 6 a.m. ET (while the session begins at 7 p.m. in Japan). The heats will also be replayed with a tape delay during NBC’s daytime coverage on the broadcast network.\u00a0Patrick Kinas<\/strong> and\u00a0Amy Van Dyken<\/strong> will be the announcing team for the heats.<\/p>\n

All sessions will be streamed on NBCOlympics.com<\/a> and on the NBC Sports app for phones and tablets. This streaming will likely require logging in with credentials for your television account.
