Torri Huske, Gretchen Walsh, Aiden Hayes Lead NISCA All-America Lists<\/strong><\/p>\n

NISCA has released its swimming and diving All-America lists for the 2020-21 school year, and the lists each honor the top 100 swimmers in each event in high school competition only. This campaign was unusual because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and given the varying racing conditions for swimmers across the country, NISCA agreed to accept times from intrasquad or virtual meets rather than the usual more strict criteria.<\/p>\n

The swimmers on these lists include three swimmers who went on to qualify for the United States Olympic team last month. Torri Huske<\/strong> is the standout name here as she owns the country’s top times in the 200 IM and 100 fly, as well as the second-fastest time in both the 50 and 100 free behind\u00a0Gretchen\u00a0<\/strong>Walsh<\/strong>.\u00a0Claire Curzan<\/strong>, who will swim the 100-meter fly with Huske in Tokyo<\/a>, ranks second in that event along with first in the 100 back and fourth in the 100 free, while 100 breast Olympian\u00a0Lydia Jacoby<\/strong> is second in the short course yards version of that event.<\/p>\n

Aside from Huske and Walsh, the only swimmer with two No. 1 finishes is Oklahoma-native\u00a0Aiden Hayes<\/strong>, who is first in the 100 fly and 100 free and second in the 50 free.<\/p>\n
