NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Junior National qualifier Morgan Bagnall<\/strong> of East Haven, Conn. has pledged her verbal commitment to Penn State University beginning in the fall of 2022.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Krista Marlin<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as well as twin sisters\u00a0Catherine<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Julia Meisner<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Nittany Lions’ Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at Penn State University. Thank you to my friends, teammates, coaches and family for all the help and support. Can\u2019t wait to be a nittany lion. #WEARE”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A distance freestyle specialist, Bagnall trains year-round with Bulldog Swimming and most recently earned four best times at the CSI LCM Senior Championships earlier this month where she recorded six top-14 finishes. She also placed fifth in the 800m free and sixth in the 1500m free at the ISCA International Senior Cup in March.<\/p>\n

In August 2019, she finished ninth in the 1500m free, 10th in the 800m free, and 12th in both the 200m\/400m free at Geneva Futures.<\/p>\n
