NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Princeton University has picked up a new verbal commitment* for the fall of 2022 from multi-time Brazilian age group record holder Lucas Tudoras\u00a0<\/strong>out of Sao Paulo.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Conor McKenna<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and Lucas Strobek<\/a> <\/b>as a member of the Tigers\u2019 Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m thrilled and honored to announce my verbal commitment to the application process at Princeton University! I would like to thank my family, my coaches, my teachers, my teammates, my girlfriend, and my friends for all of their support. Go Tigers!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A versatile swimmer, Tudoras trains with Clube Paineiras do Morumby and holds 10 Brazilian age group records. He won 15 medals – 10 individual and 5 relays – at the 2019 South American Youth Championship and won the high point award for the meet. His most recent meet was the Trofeo Brasil de Nata\u00e7ao in December 2020 where he earned four new best times.<\/p>\n

In 2020, he was named \u201cThe Best 13-14 Years Brazilian Male Swimmer of the Decade\u201d by Best Swimming<\/em>.<\/p>\n
