NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Texas A&M University has received a new verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season and beyond from Manita Sathianchokwisan<\/strong> of Jacksonville, Fla.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Sarah Lankford<\/strong><\/a>, Blakely Schuricht\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>and\u00a0Hadley Beeson<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0as a member of the Aggies\u2019 Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swimming career at Texas A&M University. I am truly grateful for my family, coaches, teammates, and friends for all their continued support. I can\u2019t wait to be an Aggie!! TAMU \u201926 Gig \u2019em!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented sprinter, Sathianchokwisan trains year-round with Bolles School Sharks and most recently placed 12th in the 50m free and 16th in the 100m free at the Mizuno Atlanta Classic. She also earned silver in the 100m free and bronze in the 50m free at the UANA Tokyo Qualifier this past spring.<\/p>\n

Internationally, she swam on the 4x100m free relay at the 18th Asian Games in 2018 and swept the 50m\/100m free at the South East Asia Group Championships in 2019.<\/p>\n
