NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Louisville has kept in-state standout\u00a0Rob Ehrenborg <\/strong>of Fisherville, Ky. close to home for the fall of 2022 after the Junior National qualifier pledged his verbal commitment to the Cardinals.<\/p>\n

This is UofL’s second public verbal commitment for the Class of 2026, as Ehrenborg will join fellow Bluegrass natives Jackson Millard<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and Charlie Crush<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“I am humbled and excited to announce my commitment to swim for University of Louisville. I would like to thank my family, coaches, and friends for all they have done to get me to this next chapter in my life. Go Cards ?\u26ab\ufe0f”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

No stranger to UofL’s program, Ehrenborg does his club swimming with Cardinal Aquatics and is primarily a sprint freestyler. He most recently competed at the Derby Classic in May where he earned three best times after racing to 13th in the 50 free at Cary Sectionals in March.<\/p>\n

A rising senior at Louisville Christian Academy, Ehrenborg is a four-time Kentucky State Championship finalist. He finished second in the 50 free and sixth in the 100 free as a junior while taking eighth in the 50 free and 13th in the 100 breast during his sophomore season.<\/p>\n
