NEW COMMITS:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Michigan will welcome Junior National qualifier\u00a0Matthew Kroll\u00a0<\/strong>of Concord, N.C. to Ann Arbor in the fall of 2022 after he sent his verbal commitment to the Wolverines.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Ozan Kalafat<\/strong>,<\/a> Lucas Hodgson<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Logan Zucker<\/strong><\/a> as a member of the Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“Beyond pumped to announce my verbal commitment to continue my swimming and academic career at the University of Michigan! Huge thanks to my family, friends, coaches, and teammates for all of their support! Can\u2019t wait to be part of such a historic team! GO BLUE \u303d\ufe0f\u303d\ufe0f”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kroll competes year-round with SwimMAC Carolina and finished eighth in the 100 breast at Cary Sectionals and earned bronze in both breaststroke events at the 18&U Winter Championships. He also raced to 18th in the 100m breast at Greensboro Futures in 2019.<\/p>\n
