<strong>Ilaria Scarcella<\/strong>&#8216;s record of 2:23.32 which had stood since the <strong>2009 World Championships<\/strong> held at the very same <strong>Foro Italico<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Behind her <strong>Fanny Lecluyse<\/strong> set a Belgian record of 2:23.30, taking 0.46 from her own mark of 2:23.76 from the <strong>2019 World Championships.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lisa Mamie<\/strong> was third in 2:23.95.<\/p>\n<h3>Consistency Is Key For Blume; Second For Sjostrom<\/h3>\n<p>Blume matched the time in which she won joint silver with Poland&#8217;s <strong>Katarzyna Wasick<\/strong> at the European Championships in Budapest in May.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sarah Sjostrom<\/strong> was second in 24.25 as she ended the second meet of her comeback following elbow surgery of 2021 with the 200br set to be a humdinger in Tokyo with three men &#8211; <strong>Zac Stubblety-Cook, Shoma Sato<\/strong> and <strong>Anton Chupkov<\/strong> &#8211; having gone 2:06 this second, slicing 0.10 from <strong>Anastasia Gorbenko<\/strong>&#8216;s mark of 2:10.86 from the <strong>Swim Open Stockholm<\/strong> in April.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matteo Restivo<\/strong> was 0.30 outside his Italian 200 back record in 1:56.59 in the men&#8217;s race.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sara Franceschi<\/strong> won the 200IM in 2:10.26 with Olympic champion <strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> second in 2:11.61 with <strong>Alberto Razzetti<\/strong> taking the men&#8217;s event in 1:58.34.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alessia Polieri<\/strong> won the 200 fly in 2:08.80 ahead of Hosszu (2:09.19) and <strong>Ilaria Cusinato<\/strong> (2:09.70).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andriy Govorov<\/strong> won the 50 fly in 23.19 and the men&#8217;s 1500 free closed out the meet with <strong>Fabio Dalu<\/strong>
