Laszlo Cseh, Katinka Hosszu<\/strong>, Evelyn Verraszto<\/strong> and Zsuzsanna Jakabos <\/strong>are headed for their fifth Olympics after being named in a 38-strong Hungary team for Tokyo, 17 years after their debuts at Athens 2004.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cseh, who at 35 was the second-oldest man at last month’s European Championships behind only Poland\u2019s Pawel Korzeniowski<\/strong>, won 400IM bronze in the Greek capital.<\/p>\n

Since then he has claimed a further four silvers and one bronze medal across three Games, the last being at Rio 2016<\/strong> where he shared a historic silver with Michael Phelps<\/strong> and Chad Le Clos\u00a0<\/strong>in the 100 fly behind winner Joseph Schooling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cseh, who has 13 world medals including two gold, will go in the 200IM which will also feature the likes of Japanese duo Daiya Seto<\/strong> and Kosuke Hagino<\/strong>, Michael Andrew<\/strong> of the United States, Britain’s Duncan Scott<\/strong>, European champion Hugo Gonzalez<\/strong> as well as his fellow Hungarian Hubert Kos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While Cseh has won medals across four Games, Hosszu had to wait until Rio 2016 before she visited the Olympic podium, a feat she managed to four times.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old won three golds in the 200 and 400IM and 100 backstroke plus silver over 200 back.<\/p>\n

Now she will head to Tokyo where she’s entered in the\u00a0200 back, 200 fly plus the two individual medleys.<\/p>\n

Hosszu is currently the third-most successful Hungarian swimmer in Olympic history behind Krisztina Egerszegi,<\/b>who won five golds across three Games at Seoul 1988, Barcelona 1992 and Atlanta 1996.<\/p>\n

Tamas Darnyi<\/strong> won the 200\/400IM double at consecutive Olympics in Seoul and four years later in Barcelona.<\/p>\n

Verraszto and Jakabos will compete in the 4×200 relay in which they won silver in Budapest in May behind Great Britain<\/strong> who are not taking a quartet to Tokyo.<\/p>\n

Verraszto, who has won nine continental medals over six championships, will be joined by her brother David who will be appearing at his third Olympics.<\/p>\n

Kristof Milak<\/strong> – who swam the second-swiftest 200 fly in history<\/a> in 1:51.10 at the Europeans – goes in the 100 and 200 fly and world champion Boglarka Kapas<\/strong> takes on the 200 fly.<\/p>\n

Anna Olasz<\/strong>, European silver medallist and the winner of the marathon qualifier on Saturday, and Krist\u00f3f Rasovszky<\/strong>, who got bronze with Hungary in the team relay in Budapest, are the two open water swimmers.<\/p>\n
