NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Indiana University has received a new verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season and beyond from Canadian butterfly specialist Katie Forrester\u00a0<\/strong>of Oakville, Ontario.<\/p>\n

She will join the Hoosiers along with Katharina Wred<\/strong><\/a>, MacKenna Lieske<\/strong>,<\/a>\u00a0Lily Hann<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Cat Watrous<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Chiok Sze Yeo<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0Kristina Paegle<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0Avery Spade<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0Gracie Olsen<\/b><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Mya DeWitt<\/b><\/a>\u00a0at the start of the 2022-23 season.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

Forrester most recently competed at the Mizuno Atlantic Classic in May where she was a finalist in the 100m\/200m fly and 200m IM, picking up best times in both fly events.<\/p>\n

At the 2020 Winter Ontario Swimming Championships, she was the runner-up in the 200m fly and 400m IM and earned bronze in the 200m back. She also recorded four lifetime bests at that meet.<\/p>\n
