Katie Ledecky\u2019s Daunting Double Ends with 200 Free Top Seed<\/strong><\/p>\n

Test No. 1 for Katie Ledecky,<\/strong> in an Olympic Trials with both the 200 freestyle and 1,500 free, is in the books. Is anyone surprised that she passed it with flying colors?<\/p>\n

Ledecky raced just shy of 2,000 yards across the two sessions Tuesday. After finishing second in the prelims of the 200 free and coasting to the fastest time in the 1,500 free prelims, Ledecky capped a busy day by finishing first in semis, a time of 1:55.83 leading the field into the final.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was my biggest day of racing,\u201d Ledecky said. \u201cIt was a long day at the office.\u201d<\/p>\n
