With six weeks until the Olympic Games, the United States will be selecting its Olympic team this week in Omaha, Nebraska. The finals of the men&#8217;s 100 breast, and the women&#8217;s 100 fly and 400 free will be held on Monday night while the semi finals of the men&#8217;s and women&#8217; 100 back, the men&#8217;s 200 free, and the women&#8217;s 100 breast will be held in tonight&#8217;s finals.<\/p>\n<p>Finals will begin at 7 p.m. central standard time from Omaha, Nebraska and will be streamed on NBCOlympics.com and shown on NBC live.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/stream.nbcolympics.com\/swimming-us-trials-day-2-finals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Live Stream<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.omegatiming.com\/2021\/us-olympic-team-trials-wave-ii-live-results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Live Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/2021-us-olympic-trials-day-two-finals-heat-sheets-day-2-usa-senior-national-2021-06-14.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Heat Sheets<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>American record holders\u00a0<strong>Torri Huske\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Michael Andrew\u00a0<\/strong>will look to make their first Olympic teams after setting the American record in the 100 fly and 100 breast respectively on night one, while 2016 Trials champs\u00a0<strong>Kelsi Dahlia\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Kevin Cordes\u00a0<\/strong>are lurking in the shadows to make their second team. Potential Olympic rookies\u00a0<strong>Claire Curzan<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Katie McLaughlin<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Nic Fink\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Andrew Wilson\u00a0<\/strong>will also be jostling for position metaphorically in the pool in the tense 100 finals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Katie Ledecky\u00a0<\/strong>will be the top seed in the 400 free as she is looking to make her third Olympic team, and will be looking to defend her gold medal from Rio in that event.<\/p>\n<p>In semi final action,\u00a0<strong>Ryan Murphy <\/strong>and <strong>Lilly King <\/strong>swam smoothly this morning in their pursuit of repeat golds in the 100 back and 100 breast, while Florida&#8217;s <strong>Kieran Smith <\/strong>is the top seed in the 200 free after making his first team in the 400 free last night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After a five-year long wait, the US Olympic Trials have finally arrived.
