{"id":475515,"date":"2021-06-09T07:57:15","date_gmt":"2021-06-09T14:57:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=475515"},"modified":"2021-06-09T07:57:15","modified_gmt":"2021-06-09T14:57:15","slug":"isl-announces-protected-athletes-for-team-iron-tokyo-frog-kings-ahead-of-draft","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/isl-announces-protected-athletes-for-team-iron-tokyo-frog-kings-ahead-of-draft\/","title":{"rendered":"ISL Announces Protected Athletes for Team Iron, Tokyo Frog Kings Ahead of Draft"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">The International Swimming League continues to unveil the long lists of athletes who have accepted to be \u2018protected\u2019 by their respective clubs if chosen during the upcoming ISL Draft that begins on 29 June 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Two of the ten ISL Clubs are announcing the names of their respective \u2018protected\u2019 athletes each day of this week.\u00a0\u00a0\u2018Protected\u2019 athletes are the ISL Swimmers who have confirmed their commitment to remain on their current team if selected by the team\u2019s General Manager, or if elected by the fans online, during the ISL Draft.<\/p>\n<p>Team Iron and Tokyo Frog Kings are the third set of clubs to announce their lists (after Cali Condors and Energy Standard Monday and London Roar and LA Current yesterday).
