But the Swimming World, always giving and generous toward others, can provide support.<\/p>\n<p>Organized by <strong>Danielle Evetts<\/strong>, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/lets-help-ollie-and-his-family-as-much-as-we-can?utm_campaign=p_lico+share-sheet&amp;utm_medium=copy_link&amp;utm_source=customer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GoFundMe page<\/a> has been set up to raise money to help the Goings family in their time of need. Here\u2019s the catch as it pertains to the sport of swimming: Anyone who donates through the GoFundMe page will be eligible for a raffle to win an <strong>Adam Peaty<\/strong> swim cap from the 2016 Olympic Games, along with other memorabilia of the breaststroke champion.<\/p>\n<p>According to Evetts, she mentioned Oliver\u2019s story on Facebook and was contacted by <strong>Caroline Peaty<\/strong>, Adam\u2019s mother, who put in motion the steps to donate a red cap of her son\u2019s from the 2016 Olympics. Through that generous gesture, the opportunity exists for the Goings family to receive critical support in a time of need, and with the help of an Olympic champion who has long recognized the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/peaty-and-scott-welcome-team-gb-stance-of-allowing-athlete-protests-at-tokyo-olympics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">importance of his impact outside of the pool<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Peaty just finished up his latest dominant performance at the European Championships in Budapest, where he won individual titles in the 50 breaststroke and 100 breaststroke and powered a pair of British medley relays to victory. In July, he will try to go back-to-back in the 100 breaststroke at the <a href=\"https:\/\/tokyo2020.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Olympic Games in Tokyo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After donations are received on the GoFundMe page, Evetts will conduct the raffle through Facebook Live.
