NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Amber van Meines<\/strong> of Moraga, Calif. will head to the East Coast for her college career after pledging her verbal commitment* to Harvard University’s Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Anya Mostek<\/strong><\/a>, Lizzie Brock<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Kaia Li\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>and\u00a0Sydney Lu<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Cambridge at the start of the 2022-23 season.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

van Meines does her club swimming with Orinda Aquatics and has earned four best times since the pandemic. She finaled in the 100 free at Carlsbad Sectionals in 2020 and raced to seventh in both the 50m and 100m free at Far Westerns in July 2019.<\/p>\n
