NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Georgia Tech has earned a new verbal commitment for the fall of 2022 from in-state freestyler Allison Brown <\/strong>of Marietta, Ga.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Anne Deedy<\/strong><\/a>, Ariana Dirkzwager<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Caroline Porterfield<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Kiah Smith<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Sabina Mrzyglod<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Kendal Chunn<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Yellow Jackets\u2019 Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swimming career at Georgia Tech! Thank you to my family, coaches, and friends for their endless support in and out of the pool. I am so grateful to the Georgia Tech coaching staff for this opportunity. Brown trains year-round with Chattahoochee Gold Swim Club and most recently earned six best times at Georgia Seniors in March and placed 14th in the 1000 free at Cary Sectionals in 2019. In July 2019, she recorded three top-15 finishes at Georgia Long Course Seniors.<\/p>\n
