NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Notre Dame has scored a new verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season and beyond from U.S. Open qualifier Tori Culotta<\/strong> of Willoughby, Ohio.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Gretchen Lueking<\/strong><\/a>, Mary Codevilla<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Renee Gillilan<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Grace Brenneman<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0as a member of the Fighting Irish\u2019s Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swimming career at the University of Notre Dame! I want to thank all of my coaches, friends, family, and teammates for their endless support throughout this journey. I cannot wait to be a part of such an amazing team and university. Culotta, who does her club swimming with Lake Erie Silver Dolphins, most recently won the 800m free at Elkhart Sectionals after earning silver in the 500 free at Lake Erie Seniors. She also won the mile and took third in the 500 free at the Spire 18&U Winter Championships.<\/p>\n
