It is a synthetic drug that is considered an androgen and anabolic steroid. It is used to treat breast cancer in patients with aggravated cases. The use of the substance produces an increase in muscle mass and an increase in strength and performance.<\/p>\n<p>Calvelo&#8217;s test came from an out of competition test on March 18 at his training base in Rio and the maximum penalty he could receive is a four-year ban. His 100 freestyle win from the Brazilian Olympic Trials has been disqualified. <strong>Gabriel Santos<\/strong>, who finished ninth in prelims, was allowed a time trial to put himself in contention for the 4&#215;100 free relay team. Santos ended up swimming a 48.49, which allowed him to pick up an individual spot for the 100 free. However, his individual qualification is <a href=\"https:\/\/globoesporte.globo.com\/natacao\/noticia\/tribunal-contesta-tomada-de-tempo-que-levou-nadador-a-delegacao-olimpica.ghtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">being contested<\/a> by the Superior Court of Sports Justice of Brazilian swimming.<\/p>\n<p>Andre Calvelo is 20-years-old and was ranked sixth in Brazil two years ago at 48.74.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Report: Anabolic Steroid the Reason for Andre Calvelo Positive Test;
