NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Georgia has successfully kept in-state standout Cooper Cook<\/strong> of Roswell, Ga. local for his college career after her verbally committed to the Bulldogs for 2022.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Charlie Stout<\/strong>,<\/a> Sam Kohm<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Matt Sates\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>as a member of the Bulldogs\u2019 Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

A talented backstroker and freestyler, Cook does his club swimming with Dynamo Swim Club and most recently earned bronze in the 100 free at Georgia Seniors last month and took sixth in the 200 free at the Southern Premier Invitational in 2020.<\/p>\n

In August 2019, he raced to 17th in the 200m back at Greensboro Futures.<\/p>\n
