NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Texas A&M University has received a new verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season and beyond from Junior National qualifier Sarah Lankford\u00a0<\/strong>of Saint Petersburg, Fla.<\/p>\n

She will join Blakely Schuricht <\/strong><\/a>and\u00a0Hadley Beeson<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0as a member of the Aggies\u2019 Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Texas A&M University. I would like to thank my friends and teammates who have motivated me along the way, my coaches who have pushed me to be my best, and my family who have loved and supported me endlessly. I wouldn\u2019t be here without any of them. I\u2019m so excited for my future at A&M.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented freestyler, Lankford does her club swimming with Saint Petersburg Aquatics and most recently post a trio of top-18 finishes at the ISCA International Senior Cup last month. At the Florida Senior Championships in March, she earned four best times and collected bronze in the 1000 free.<\/p>\n
