NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Futures qualifier Jacob Troescher<\/strong> of Boise, Idaho, has announced his commitment to Colorado Mesa University and will arrive on campus at the start of the 2021-22 season.<\/p>\n

He will join Fort Collins, Colo. native John Walgast<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Mavs’ Class of 2025.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Colorado Mesa University this fall. I would like to thank God, my Family, my Coaches, and my friends for all their loving support along my journey. I look forward to working with Coach Wender and Coach Hastings for the next 4! Mavs Up!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Troescher does his club swimming with Boise YMCA and most recently earned five best times at the Virtual YMCA Swimming Festival last month. In February 2020, he placed fifth in the 50 breast, 200 breast, and 200 IM at the Northwest Region YMCA Championships.<\/p>\n
