NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Junior National qualifier Anya Mostek<\/strong> of Haverford, Pa. has announced her verbal commitment* to Harvard University beginning in the fall of 2022.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Lizzie Brock<\/strong><\/a>, Kaia Li\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>and\u00a0Sydney Lu<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Cambridge at the start of the 2022-23 season.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am thrilled to announce my commitment to the admissions process to swim and study at Harvard University! The team’s fun and supportive atmosphere, combined with its drive for excellence both in the pool and in the classroom, made this the school for me. Thank you to my family, friends, teammates and coaches for their tireless support. Go Crimson!!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

An extremely versatile swimmer, Mostek does her club swimming with Phoenixville Area YMCA Swim Team and most recently won four events at the YSCAP League Championships last month after earning four best times at the Toyota U.S. Open in November.<\/p>\n

She also raced at Juniors East in December 2019 and placed sixth in the 100m back at YMCA Long Course Nationals in August 2019.<\/p>\n
