Auboeck represents Austria internationally and was 25th in the 400 free at the last Olympics in Rio before going off to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/redemption-king-felix-aubock-wins-1650-after-disastrous-start\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Michigan<\/a> in 2016.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livetiming.se\/results.php?cid=5782&amp;session=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now training at Loughborough in the UK, Aubock looks to be a medal contender for the 400 freestyle on the first night of the Games in Tokyo. He won the 400 free final today in Stockholm ahead of Denmark&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Anton Ipsen\u00a0<\/strong>(3:49.90).<\/p>\n<p>Auboeck&#8217;s New York Breakers teammate\u00a0<strong>Marco Koch\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 breaststroke at 2:10.95 as the German native, who was seventh in Rio, won ahead of Austria&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Christopher Rothbauer\u00a0<\/strong>(2:11.53) and <strong>Martin Allikvee\u00a0<\/strong>(2:11.56).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Barbora Seemanova\u00a0<\/strong>of the Czech Republic won the 200 free at 1:57.76 ahead of Israel&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Anastasia Gorbenko\u00a0<\/strong>(1:58.99) and\u00a0<strong>Andi Murez\u00a0<\/strong>(1:59.01).<\/p>\n<p>Israel&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Yakov Toumarkin\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 back at 1:59.95 ahead of\u00a0<strong>Tomas Ludvik\u00a0<\/strong>(2:00.43).<\/p>\n<p>In non-Olympic events,\u00a0<strong>Marius Kusch\u00a0<\/strong>won the 50 fly at 23.58, while\u00a0<strong>Emilie Beckmann\u00a0<\/strong>won the women&#8217;s race at 25.62.
