NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Pennsylvania has received their first verbal commitment* for the 2022-23 season and beyond from Alex Fu\u00a0<\/strong>of Sugar Land, Texas.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to the admissions process at the University of Pennsylvania! I\u2019m incredibly blessed to be continuing my academic and athletic careers at a world renowned institute. I\u2019d like to thank my family, friends, and coaches that have supported me throughout this journey. Go Quakers!!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Fu, who does his club swimming with First Colony Swim Team, most recently posted eight top-3 finishes at the FCST Spring Fling meet last month after a strong showing at College Station Sectionals in February 2020. In Summer 2019, he placed 20th in the 200m breast and 21st in the 100m breast at Des Moines Futures.<\/p>\n
