The series will include reflections from Phelps and NBC commentators <strong>Rowdy Gaines<\/strong> and <strong>Dan Hicks,<\/strong> discussing each of Phelps\u2019 Olympic races.<\/p>\n<p>The trailer is available here:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JNyWrxhEHBc\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The three installments of the series are<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cGreatness Begins,\u201d looking at his Olympic debut at age 15 at the 2000 Sydney Games<\/li>\n<li>\u201cEight Golden Races,\u201d reviewing his record-setting journey through the 2008 Beijing Olympics<\/li>\n<li>\u201cLondon to Lasting Legacy,\u201d describing his last two Olympics and the lead up to retirement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cThe opportunity to revisit each of my Olympic races with Rowdy Gaines and Dan Hicks was filled with a lot of laughs and emotions,\u201d Phelps said <a href=\"https:\/\/olympics.nbcsports.com\/2021\/04\/06\/michael-phelps-peacock-documentary-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in a press release<\/a>. \u201cThe sport of swimming has come a long way over the years, and I\u2019m excited to share some memories and insights from my Olympic career as the world looks forward to the upcoming Tokyo Games this summer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Michael Phelps documentary follows on the heels of a <strong>Ryan Lochte <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/review-in-deep-with-ryan-lochte-gives-unfiltered-lens-into-new-improved-man\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">documentary launched last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NBC will premiere a new Michael Phelps documentary, \u201cMichael Phelps: Medals, Memories &amp; More,\u201d on April 14 to mark 100 days until the start of the Tokyo Olympics.
