NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Alabama has received a new verbal commitment for the fall of 2022 from Junior National qualifier Lockett Bowley<\/strong> of Winter Park, Fla.<\/p>\n

She will join Ana Fleming<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Laci Black<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0Mackenzie Brandt<\/b><\/a>,\u00a0Kylee Grafmiller<\/b><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Stella Grace Watts<\/b><\/a>\u00a0in Tuscaloosa as a member of Bama\u2019s Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am extremely honored and excited to officially announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic endeavors! Thank you to all of my coaches and especially Coach Joe!\u00a0I\u2019m forever grateful for the love and support of my family, friends and teammates! Also, thank you to Coach Ozzie for the opportunity and I\u2019m thrilled to be a part of the Bama Family!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Bowley, who does her club swimming with Blue Dolfins, most recently picked up four best times at the Florida Spring Championships after competing at the Toyota U.S. Open. In March 2020, she won the 200 fly at Plantation Sectionals.<\/p>\n
