Three-time European medallist Jessica Vall<\/strong> went fourth in the 200 breaststroke rankings with a meet record of 2:23.25 as the Spanish Open Championships<\/strong> concluded in Sabadell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Behind her Marina Garcia Urzainqui\u00a0<\/strong>became the fourth swimmer to book a spot on Spain’s Olympic team with the competition a chance for athletes to earn consideration times for the Tokyo Games.<\/p>\n

Maria De Valdes<\/strong> (1500 free), Jimena Perez\u00a0<\/strong>(800&1500fr) <\/a>and\u00a0Joan Lluis Pons\u00a0<\/strong>(400IM)<\/a> also provisionally added their names to the roster during the meet which now features eight athletes.<\/p>\n
