State Recruit Grace Sheble Claims 200 IM Title at NCSA Champs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the NCAA Women\u2019s Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina State will finish second in the team standings to Atlantic Coast Conference rival Virginia, and the Wolfpack will be getting stronger next year.<\/p>\n<p>On the final night of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamunify.com\/Home.jsp?team=recndncsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Club Swimming Association<\/a> Spring Championships (NCSA) in Orlando, N.C. State recruit <strong>Grace Sheble<\/strong> claimed victory in the 200-yard individual medley. Touching the wall in 1:56.99, Sheble (NOVA) topped <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/letitia-sim-pulls-off-impressive-double-at-ncsa-spring-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Letitia Sim<\/strong><\/a> (1:57.43) and <strong>Zoe<\/strong> <strong>Dixon<\/strong> (1:57.90). For good measure, <strong>Caroline Sheble<\/strong>, the winner\u2019s twin sister and another N.C. State recruit, was eighth.<\/p>\n<p>In sprint action, <strong>Alexis Mulvihill<\/strong> came away with a triumph in the 50 freestyle. Mulvihill covered her two laps in 22.58 to beat <strong>Joanie<\/strong> <strong>Cash<\/strong> (22.78) and <strong>Lucy Thomas<\/strong> (22.84). For the men, <strong>Ben Wiegand<\/strong> clocked 20.00 for the title.<\/p>\n<p>In the women\u2019s 50 butterfly, <strong>Campbell Stoll<\/strong> and <strong>Levenia Sim<\/strong> were the only swimmers to under the 24-second mark, with Stoll taking the victory in 23.76. Sim checked in at 23.98 while Letitia Sim was third in 24.02. For the men, gold was claimed by <strong>Tiago<\/strong> <strong>Pereira<\/strong> in 21.43, which just clipped the 21.48 of William Hayon. In the men\u2019s 200 individual medley, <strong>Nathaniel Germonprez<\/strong> secured a convincing win, his time of 1:45.86 more than two seconds clear of runnerup <strong>Josh Zuchowski<\/strong> (1:48.29).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>N.C.
