The relays are all timed finals and will take place during the finals session. The 1,650 will also be a timed final and heats will start in the afternoon leading into the final.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia leads the meet after winning five events, while NC State has won four and is in second place.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/watch\/player\/_\/id\/55c111e9-9709-422b-84f5-7b469892b380\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Live Stream<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/swimmeetresults.tech\/NCAA-Division-I-Women-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Live Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2021-ncaa-division-i-womens-swimming-and-diving-championshipss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Complete meet coverage<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NCAA Championships: Women\u2019s 100 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Stanford\u2019s <strong>Simone Manue<\/strong>l has the best time in history at 45.56, set when she won in 2017. Tennessee\u2019s <strong>Erika Brown<\/strong> is next at 45.83, followed by Louisville\u2019s <strong>Mallory Comerford<\/strong> (46.20), Arkansas\u2019<strong> Anna Hopkin<\/strong> (46.20) and <strong>Abbey Weitzeil<\/strong> (46.29). Michigan\u2019s <strong>Maggie MacNeil<\/strong> comes in with the seventh-fastest time in history at 46.57, while Virginia\u2019s <strong>Kate Douglass<\/strong> is 13<sup>th<\/sup> at 46.83. Comerford won the event in 2019 with Manuel winning three of the previous four with Georgia\u2019s<strong> Olivia Smoliga<\/strong> winning in 2016. \u2026 Georgia\u2019s <strong>Kara Lynn Joyce<\/strong> and Stanford\u2019s <strong>Jenny Thompson<\/strong> each swept the event all four years. Stanford has the all-time lead with 10, while Georgia has eight.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Round three of the <strong>Maggie MacNeil-Kate Douglass<\/strong> showdown looks to be a good one, though <strong>Isabel Ivey<\/strong> might have something to day about it. MacNeil won the 100 butterfly and Douglass won the 50 free.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia sophomore <strong>Kate Douglass<\/strong> took the top seed in 46.54.
