The University of Montevalle is the host, though it has no swimmers entered.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2021-division-ii-mens-psych-sheet\/ncaa-college\/2021\/March\/17?rtn=%2Fresults%2Fall\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Men\u2019s Psych Sheets<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2021-division-ii-womens-psych-sheet\/ncaa-college\/2021\/March\/17?rtn=%2Fresults%2Fall\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Women\u2019s Psyche Sheets<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncaa.com\/live-updates\/swimming-men\/d2\/2021-ncaa-dii-swimming-diving-championship-selection-release-schedule\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Meet Homepage<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The cut line in events is variable. On the men\u2019s side, there are between 16 and 18 participants in each individual event. The women\u2019s meet has between 20 and 22 per individual events.<\/p>\n<p>The reason for the changes is in the name of social distancing. Per the <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.swimswam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/2020-21D2XSW_PreChampsManual.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pre-Championships Manual<\/a> (pdf), the selection criteria is crafted to make sure the number of men\u2019s and women\u2019s participants doesn\u2019t exceed 130 swimmers each. Relays will be selected from institutions with at least four qualifiers, hence lists of relay eligibility that accompany the announcements for the men and women.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 29 men\u2019s teams and 31 women\u2019s teams are represented in the selections (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncaa.com\/_flysystem\/public-s3\/images\/2021\/03\/06\/3%205%2021%20DII%20M%20Eligible%20Relays%20(PS).pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">men&#8217;s<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncaa.com\/_flysystem\/public-s3\/images\/2021\/03\/06\/2021%20Diving%20Preliminary%20%20Qualification%20List%20W.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">women&#8217;s<\/a>). The schools with the most are:<\/p>\n<h4>Men\u2019s top teams<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Drury 15<\/li>\n<li>Indy 14<\/li>\n<li>Queens 14<\/li>\n<li>Lindenwood 9<\/li>\n<li>Wingate 9<\/li>\n<li>Delta State 6<\/li>\n<li>Florida Southern 6<\/li>\n<li>McKendree 6<\/li>\n<li>Nova Southeastern 6<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Women\u2019s top teams<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Queens 13<\/li>\n<li>Drury 12<\/li>\n<li>Tampa 11<\/li>\n<li>Indy 10<\/li>\n<li>Lindenwood 9<\/li>\n<li>Winate 9<\/li>\n<li>Grand Valley 8<\/li>\n<li>Colorado Mesa 6<\/li>\n<li>Delta State 6<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Queens has won the last five NCAA Division II Men\u2019s Championships dating to 2015 (last year\u2019s meet was not completed). Drury, which won 10 straight crowns from 2005-14 and was a runner-up as recently as 2017, figures to give Queens a run.<\/p>\n<p>Queens has likewise won the last five women\u2019s titles, the last three with Drury as the runner-up.
