Penn State has never won a Big Ten title in the 400 IM and last won an individual title in 2017 when\u00a0<strong>Shane Ryan\u00a0<\/strong>won the 100 back. Daly will be surrounded by Wisconsin&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caleb Aman\u00a0<\/strong>(3:43.33) and Michigan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jared Daigle\u00a0<\/strong>(3:43.47). Frankel already swam the 100 fly this morning and is the top seed there, while Callan was second last night in the 500 and will be hungry to win arguably his best event today.<\/p>\n<p>The Wolverines will have half the pool in the A-Final as they also advanced\u00a0<strong>Gus Borges\u00a0<\/strong>(1:33.79),\u00a0<strong>Jake Mitchell <\/strong>(1:33.93) and\u00a0<strong>Wyatt Davis\u00a0<\/strong>(1:34.92). Mitchell won the 500 last night and had the fastest last 50 this morning so if he remains close at the 150, he can run anyone down.<\/p>\n<p>Northwestern had a big showing in the 200 free with\u00a0<strong>Aleksa Bobar\u00a0<\/strong>(1:35.22) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/connor-lamastra-transferring-to-northwestern-after-three-years-at-dartmouth\/\"
