On March 8, we celebrate\u00a0International Women\u2019s Day<\/a>. As a tribute to the women who have contributed to, grown and defined excellence in the sport, Swimming World will run several features throughout the day which celebrate some of the great women and achievements in swimming history.<\/i><\/p>\n

Olympic gold medalist Simone Manuel<\/strong> is one of four athlete founders of TOGETHXR, a media and commerce company founded to showcase voices of women.<\/p>\n

Manuel is joined by soccer player Alex Morgan,<\/strong> basketball player Sue Bird<\/strong> and snowboarder Chloe Kim,<\/strong> standout athletes all, in founding TOGETHXR. The goal is to elevate stories of women, in sports and beyond.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t wait to share everything we have in store,\u201d Manuel tweeted about it. \u201cThere has never been a place for women that exist like this. It\u2019s about damn time.\u201d<\/p>\n
