Carmel Boys Win Seventh Straight Indiana High School State Title (PHOTO GALLERY)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2021 Indiana Boys State Swimming and Diving Championship took place on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind.<\/p>\n

Despite only winning one relay and one individual event, the Carmel boys used their impressive depth to win their seventh-straight championship crown with 360 points ahead of Fishers (198.5) and Zionsville (189.5).<\/p>\n

The win set a new state record for most consecutive titles won and marks the 21st title in program history. The Greyhounds made it a sweep as the Carmel girls clinched their\u00a035th-consecutive title<\/a>\u00a0two weeks ago, and tonight\u2019s victory is the school\u2019s 158th IHSAA championship.<\/p>\n

Carmel also joined a pretty\u00a0special relay club<\/a>\u00a0on Saturday.<\/p>\n
