She went a 12.21 the first 25 and was 26.79 at the halfway point, well ahead. As she slowed in the final 25 and others closed in, she had enough in the tank to touch the wall six tenths ahead of the field.<\/p>\n<p>Northwestern senior <strong>Sophie Angus<\/strong> took second in 58.89, followed by teammate <strong>Hannah Brunzell<\/strong> (59.23).<\/p>\n<p>Indiana junior <strong>Noelle Peplowski t<\/strong>ook fourth in 59.66, followed by sophomore teammate <strong>Emily Weiss<\/strong> (59.79).<\/p>\n<p>Ohio State senior <strong>Hannah Gresser<\/strong> (59.91) followed, ahead of sophomore teammate Leah Baker (1:00.55) and Michigan State senior <strong>Erin in 1:52.17.<\/p>\n<p>The time is an NCAA \u201cA\u201d cut and beat her own record of 1:53.28 set last year.<\/p>\n<p>Carter led a quartet of Wolverines in the finals, including three in the top five.<\/p>\n<p>Northwestern junior <strong>Miriam Guevara<\/strong> bounced back from her DQ earlier in the night to take second in 1:55.11 ahead of Ohio State senior <strong>Katherine Trace<\/strong> (1:56.13).<\/p>\n<p>Michigan junior <strong>Victoria Kwan<\/strong> took fourth in 1:57.04, followed be freshman teammate<strong> Sophie Housey<\/strong> (1:57.29).<\/p>\n<p>Iowa freshman <strong>Alyssa Graves<\/strong> was sixth (1:57.99), followed by Wisconsin senior <strong>Alex Reddington<\/strong> (1:58.00) and Michigan sophomore <strong>Megan Glass<\/strong> together the strongest quartet in the sprint relay as the Buckeyes inch closer to a Big Ten title.<\/p>\n<p>OSU\u2019s <strong>Taylor Petrak, Emily Crane, Katherine Zenick<\/strong> and <strong>Amy Fulmer<\/strong> won in 1:27.53, an NCAA \u201cA\u201d cut and less than a half second ahead of Michigan.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan also got an \u201cA\u201d cut time as<strong> Maggie MacNeil, Daria Pyshnenko, Claire Newman<\/strong> and<strong> Olivia Carter<\/strong> took second in 1:27.99.<\/p>\n<p>Northwestern\u2019s<strong> Selena Ozbilen, Madeline Smith, Isabella Wallace<\/strong> and <strong>Ally Larson<\/strong> took third in 1:29.11, just a hundredth of a second ahead of Indiana\u2019s <strong>Ashley Turak, Laurel Eiber, Ella Ristic<\/strong> and <strong>Elizabeth
