Now, the Cardinal will try to maintain momentum and fend off a Cal squad that has the talent to make a run from its current 45.5-point deficit. Cal&#8217;s <strong>Alicia Wilson<\/strong>, who won the 200 medley on Thursday night, qualified second in 4:09.21, while <strong>Brooke Forde<\/strong> was third in 4:09.61. Forde was the 500 freestyle champ on Thursday and will be favored to claim victory in this event during finals.<\/p>\n<p>As it seeks to maintain its lead in the team standings, Stanford placed three other swimmers in the championship final, as <strong>Hannah Kukurugya<\/strong> was fourth in 4:11.46, with <strong>Isabel Gormley<\/strong> (4:14.54) in sixth and <strong>Katie Glavinovich<\/strong> in eighth. The meet has been relatively quiet for Ivey to this point, with the 100 fly her first individual event. Neumann paced four Cal swimmers into the final, as <strong>Ayla<\/strong> <strong>Spitz<\/strong> was third in 1:45.40 and <strong>Eloise Riley<\/strong> was sixth in 1:47.00. Gabbing the eighth slot was <strong>Emily Gantriis<\/strong> in 1:47.23.<\/p>\n<p>Stanford saw <strong>Morgan Tankersley<\/strong> take the No. 2 seed in 1:45.06 and <strong>Brooke Forde<\/strong> qualify fourth in 1:45.46. Forde raced the 400 individual medley earlier in the session and is attempting a brutal double. The national high school record holder in the event, Dobler entered the collegiate ranks with lofty expectations and has come through for the Trojans. She was followed in qualifying by Cal junior <strong>Ema Rajic<\/strong>, who dipped under the 59-second barrier with a mark of 58.57.<\/p>\n<p>Stanford&#8217;s <strong>Allie Raab<\/strong> advanced to the final in third, thanks to a 59.19 swim, and was followed by UCLA&#8217;s Claire Grover, who went 59.65. Ivey, coming off the 100 butterfly earlier in the morning, was timed in 52.15 for the second seed. Ivey and Stanford&#8217;s <strong>Brooke Forde<\/strong> have opted for challenging doubles on Day Three, Forde&#8217;s chore featuring the 400 medley and 200 free.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona&#8217;s
