Despite being the second seed, a second slower than Georgia Tech, the Cardinals surged to a win in 1:22.71. It buzzed within four tenths of the meet record set in 2019 by NC State and led seven (!) They navigated a close call with Lowe, the freshman\u2019s reaction time at -0.01. Sameh brought home an 19.76 leg on the end.<\/p>\n<p>Second was top-seeded Georgia Tech, which crept within a quarter second thanks to <strong>Christian Ferraro\u2019s<\/strong> 20.07 leg on fly. The squad of <strong>Lukas Miller, Eric Knowles, Erge Gezmis <\/strong>and <strong>Hunter Tapp<\/strong> earned an A cut in the race. Knowles actually provided the fastest split at 1:32.27.<\/p>\n<p>The fastest leg of the race came from <strong>Philip Manoff<\/strong> of Virginia Tech, who staked the Hokies to a lead with a 1:32.33 out front. The foursome of him, <strong>Antani Ivanov, Carles Coll Marti <\/strong>and <strong>Samuel Tornqvist<\/strong> were second in 6:14.04.
