She unseats <a href=\"https:\/\/mpsports.org\/documents\/2020\/2\/23\/20sd_records.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the league record<\/a> set by <strong>Kionna Clayton<\/strong> of Hawaii at 1:00.36 in 2019. It\u2019s also an NCAA B cut.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Josue Dominguez<\/strong> likewise set league and program marks in the men\u2019s 100 breast, clocking in at 51.81 seconds. Also an NCAA B cut, it\u2019s quicker than the meet mark set by Hawaii\u2019s <strong>Olli Kokko<\/strong> in 2020 (52.34).<\/p>\n<p>After <a href=\"https:\/\/mpsports.org\/news\/2021\/2\/19\/swimming-diving-hawaii-on-top-with-one-day-to-go.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">three days of the four-day meet<\/a> at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Hawaii leads the women\u2019s team standings ahead of BYU. The BYU men are ahead of Hawaii in the team categories.<\/p>\n<p>The BYU men won the medley relay Friday night, Dominguez joining 100 butterfly champ <strong>Nicholas Janvier<\/strong> (swimming backstroke), 100 breast runner-up <strong>Brad Prolo<\/strong> (swimming fly) and 100 fly runner-up <strong>Connor Stirling<\/strong> anchoring to win by nearly four seconds. <strong>Payton Plumb<\/strong> also won the 200 free for BYU.<\/p>\n<p>On the women\u2019s side, BYU also got wins from <strong>Summer Murphy<\/strong> in the 400 individual medley and <strong>Gwen Gustafson<\/strong> in the 200 free.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BYU swimmers set both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s 100 breaststroke records at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championships Friday night.
