NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Arizona has received their second verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season and beyond from Junior National qualifier\u00a0Tommy Palmer\u00a0<\/strong>of Lincoln, Neb.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Billy Oates<\/a> <\/strong>of Gig Harbor, Wash. as a member of the Wildcats’ Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am very excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at the University of Arizona!\u00a0 I would like to thank my family, coaches and teammates who have supported me along the way.\u00a0 Go Wildcats!!!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Palmer, who trains year-round with Lincoln Select Swimming, earned a pair of best times at Lee’s Summit 18&U Winter Championships in December where he won the 50 free and took third in the 100 free. He raced three events at Juniors West in 2019 and was the 100m free champion at the Midwestern LCM Championships that summer.<\/p>\n
