Charlotte Bonnet<\/strong> dominated the 200 free to win in 1:56.96 on the second day of the FFN Golden Tour<\/strong> in Nice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Kristof Milak<\/strong> won the 200 fly and Jeremy Desplanches<\/strong> completed the medley double with victory in the 200IM.<\/p>\n

Roman Mityukov<\/strong> led at the first turn of the men’s 200IM but Desplanches went ahead on the backstroke leg to stop the clock at 1:58.40 – the second-fastest time so far in 2021 behind Kosuke Hagino’<\/strong>s 1:58.14 at the Japan Open hours before.<\/a><\/p>\n
Henique won the 50 fly in 25.61 to propel herself to the top of the fledgling world rankings and usurping Ranomi Kromowidjojo\u00a0<\/strong>in the process, the Dutchwoman having previously set the fastest time of the year when she went 25.88 at the Flanders Qualification Meet last month.<\/p>\n
Henique, the 2011 world bronze medallist, was the only swimmer to dip inside 26secs with Anna Ntountounaki<\/strong> – winner of the 100 fly on Friday – second in 26.23 and Pernille Blume<\/strong> rounding out the podium in 26.49.<\/p>\n
Milak controlled the race from the start to stop the clock at 1:56.80 – more than six seconds outside the world record of 1:50.73 he so memorably set at the 2019 World Championships, toppling Michael Phelps<\/strong>‘ long-standing and iconic mark in the process.<\/p>\n
Splits of 25.87\/55.97\/1:26.30 with a final length of 30.50 saw Milak lead home a Hungarian clean sweep ahead of Richard Marton<\/strong> (1:58.29) and Bence Biczo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Maxime Grousset<\/strong> won the 100 free in 49.23 ahead of Apostolos Christou<\/strong> (49.36) and Florent Manaudou<\/strong> (49.46).<\/p>\n
Swiss record-holder Lisa Mamie<\/strong> led from start to finish to take the 200br in 2:25.23 ahead of Fanny Lecluyse<\/strong> (2:26.44).<\/p>\n
Former world champion Marco Koch<\/strong> won the men’s race in 2:10.24.<\/p>\n
Hosszu added the 400IM to the shorter medley title she won on Friday, stopping the clock at 4:42.96.<\/p>\n
The three-time Olympic champion then returned to win the 200 back in 2:13.30.<\/p>\n
Christou also led home the 50 back in 25.04 ahead of Yohann Brouard\u00a0<\/strong>(25.21) and Mewen Tomac\u00a0<\/strong>(25.25) – 24 hours after the trio made up the top three in the 100 back albeit in a different order.<\/p>\n
Anastassia Kirpitchnikova<\/strong> enjoyed a winning margin of 39.28secs in the 1500m, touching in 16:00.28.<\/p>\n
