The women won by a 186-99 score, while the No. 22 men\u2019s team prevailed, 203.5-80.5.<\/p>\n<p>Grottle handled the distance events with ease. She set a personal-best time of 4:56.06 to win the 500 freestyle. She also won the 200 free and 1,650 free, setting the top times for the team this season. Anderson set a PB in the 200 back in 2:00.24 and a best time this season in the 200 butterfly of 1:59.57. Anderson was also quickest in the 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kate Fuhrmann<\/strong> won the 100 breaststroke and 100 freestyle and was on the winning 200 free relay. <strong>Annelise Holm,<\/strong> the runner-up in the 100 breast, took the 200 breast. <strong>Sophie Yendell<\/strong> claimed the 50 free and 100 fly. <strong>Amy Read<\/strong> won both diving events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Blaise Vera,<\/strong> one of seven seniors recognized on Senior Day, celebrated in style with a season-best time to win the 50 free of 19.46 seconds. He won the 100 fly in 47.03 and swam fly on the winning 200 medley relay with <strong>Marcin Goraj, Cooper van der Laan<\/strong> and <strong>Ellis Cannon.<\/strong> Gorag (100 back, 200 back) and van der Laan (100 breast, 200 breast) added a pair of individual wins each<\/p>\n<p>Vera\u2019s classmate <strong>Armin Remenyi<\/strong> got to the wall first in the 200 fly and 100 free.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warren Briggs<\/strong> won the mile and the 500 free. <strong>Dominic Toledo Sanchez<\/strong> won the 200 free after finishing second to Remenyi in the 100 free. <strong>Dylan Reed<\/strong> won both diving events, scoring 400.80 points on the three-meter board.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I thought we raced well,&#8221; Pitt head coach <strong>John Hargis<\/strong> said. &#8220;Today was all about the seniors and we wanted to be able to send them off the best way that we could. Obviously with no fans and no parents it was a much different senior day than usual, but it was very nice to watch the videos from their families congratulating them on their success at Pitt. I think the team won and battled really for the seniors. We have a couple of weeks left here and we want to fine tune the kids, give them some rest and get ready for conference.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Army started the women\u2019s meet strong by claiming the 200 medley relay in 1:42.06, with the squad of <strong>Lauren Carag, Mandolin Nguyen, Angela Huang<\/strong> and <strong>Madison Berg.<\/strong> Carag would go on to win the 100 back. Berg was second in the 50 free and 100 free.<\/p>\n<p>Army\u2019s <strong>Ian Tansill<\/strong> was second in the 1,650 free and tied for second in the 500 free. <strong>James Bilbrey<\/strong> finished second in the 100 and 200 fly, and <strong>Evan Zhang<\/strong> claimed second in both breaststroke events.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Abby Grottle and Daisy Anderson won three events each as Pitt swept Army in a dual meet Saturday.
