Kentucky\u2019s <strong>Riley Gaines<\/strong> earned women\u2019s swimmer of the week, while <strong>Aimee Wilson<\/strong> of Texas A&amp;M and LSU\u2019s <strong>Juan Celaya-Hernandez<\/strong> were the divers of the week. <strong>Jake Magahey<\/strong> of Georgia is the men\u2019s freshman of the week.<\/p>\n<p>Smith won three events in a dual meet with Auburn, all in NCAA B-cut times. Smith <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/kieran-smith-swims-143-200-im-in-floridas-win-over-auburn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">won the 200 individual medley in 1:43.76<\/a>, the 11th-fastest time in the nation this season. He also won the 100 freestyle (42.75 seconds) and 100 backstroke (47.22).<\/p>\n<p>Casas continued his stellar season with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/shaine-casas-cracks-45-seconds-in-100-fly-as-texas-am-sweeps-lsu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a school record in the 100 butterfly<\/a> at 44.98 seconds, the nation\u2019s third-fastest time in 2020-21. Casas also won the 100 back (47.11) and was part of two winning relays. The swims account for his sixth school record of the season and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/sec-weekly-honors-texas-ams-shaine-casas-swimmer-of-the-week-for-fourth-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">his fifth SEC Weekly Honors nod<\/a> of the campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Gaines won three individual events as Kentucky topped Louisville <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/louisville-men-kentucky-women-on-top-in-bluegrass-battle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in a Bluegrass battle<\/a>. She claimed wins in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free and the 200 medley relay, swimming the anchor leg. Her time in the 200 free, 1:44.06, is the fifth-fastest in the nation this season.<\/p>\n<p>Porter won the 200 breaststroke against Auburn with a top-20 national time of 1:00.19, good for an NCAA B cut. She added a B cut in the 200 breast and helped the Gators win the 200 medley relay against Auburn. Porter also swam a pair of strong races in an earlier win against North Florida.<\/p>\n<p>Magahey won two individual events and led a relay win <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/georgia-men-beat-tennessee-by-one-point-lady-vols-defeat-bulldogs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">as Georgia topped Tennessee<\/a>. He won the 200 free (1:35.65) and 500 free (4:20.58), both NCAA B cuts, and added the decisive leg in the 400 free relay to clinch Georgia\u2019s first undefeated men\u2019s dual-meet season since 1997-98.<\/p>\n<p>On the board, Celaya-Hernandez swept both events in a dual meet with Texas A&amp;M. The Mexican international topped 400 points in winning at both one-meter and three-meter.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson won three times across dual meets with LSU and SMU for the Aggies.
