NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Tulane University has reeled in their second verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season and beyond from Futures qualifier\u00a0Sydney Mullin\u00a0<\/strong>of Haddenfield, N.J.<\/p>\n

She will join Istanbul, Turkey native\u00a0Olcaytu Hatipoglu<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>as a member of the Green Wave’s Class of 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at Tulane University! I am very thankful to the people who helped me get here such as my coaches, family, and friends! ROLL WAVE!!!????”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A freestyler who gets faster as the distance gets longer, Mullin does her club swimming with the Jersey Wahoos and most recently picked up six new best times at the 18&U Winter Championships last month. In Summer 2019, she finished fifth in the 800m free at Middle Atlantic LCM Seniors before going on to notch three lifetime bests at Eastern Zone Seniors.<\/p>\n
