NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Guilford, Conn. native\u00a0Finn Henry\u00a0<\/strong>has announced his verbal commitment* to Yale University and will suit up for the Bulldogs in the fall of 2022.<\/p>\n

It’ll be a family affair as his father, Jim Henry<\/strong><\/a>, is currently the head coach of the both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s program.<\/p>\n

Henry will join fellow New England native Nareg Minassian<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>of Newton, Mass. in New Haven as a member of the Bulldogs’ Class of 2026.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to enter the admissions process and further my academic and athletic career at Yale University. A big thank you to my parents, my brothers, my family, my friends, and my many coaches who have helped me along the way. Go Bulldogs!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented freestyler, Henry trains year-round with Bulldog Swimming and has achieved several best times at intrasquad meets since COVID. In Summer 2019, he earned five best times at Connecticut LCM Seniors before going on to place 13th in the 1500m free as well as 15th in both the 400m free and 800m free at TYR Summer Seniors.<\/p>\n
